Since the 14th century, the Fort Saint-André has offered breathtaking panoramic views over Avignon and the Palais des Papes, Mont Ventoux, the Alpilles and the Luberon. Commissioned by the King of France, Philippe the Fair, it is an exceptional example of 14th century military architecture.
