Villa Kerylos

Antiquity as imagined by a humanist.

A sumptuous villa, inspired by Ancient Greece, commissioned by Théodore Reinach in 1902, during the Belle Epoque era. An erudite man of letters, archaeologist, academic and politician, Théodore Reinach wanted to live and receive his guests in an original reconstruction of a luxury Greek palace from the second century B.C., equipped with all the modern conveniences of his times.

Overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, the villa is located betweenNice and Monaco in the magnificent bay of Beaulieu-sur-Mer. Surrounded by a charming coastal garden, in an extraordinarysetting, the villa is fully furnished and decorated with totally unique fabrics, frescoes and mosaics, through which visitorscan discover and appreciate the sophisticated way of life of Greek civilisation.
